Tour Highlights
① Taiyaki & Coffee
Located near the Atomic Bomb Dome and next to the Kamiyacho Shareo Tourist Information Center, you can enjoy a set of traditional Japanese sweets ‘Taiyaki’ and coffee at the café ‘Hayama Coffee.’ The Taiyaki is from ‘Yoshio,’ a popular shop in Akiota Town, Hiroshima Prefecture.
② Hiroshima Guide by a Certified Tour Guide
Enjoy Taiyaki and coffee while a Hiroshima Prefecture Government Licensed Guide Interpreter introduces you to the charms of Hiroshima beyond Miyajima and the Atomic Bomb Dome. You will discover local gourmet food, the history of Hiroshima, the situation during the atomic bombing, the subsequent reconstruction, and more.
③ Table-Style Tea Ceremony Experience
The latter part of the tour features a casual tea ceremony experience. A guide with experience in tea ceremony will explain how to prepare delicious matcha. The world of tea ceremony embodies the spirit of ‘ichigo ichie,’ which means ‘treasure every encounter as it will never recur.’ Let’s enjoy the tea ceremony together with guests from around the world in the peaceful city of Hiroshima.
