Located about a 20-minute drive from Hiroshima Station, Ebayama is a popular cherry blossom viewing spot. Ebayama Meteorological Museum, a building that survived the atomic bombing, features exhibits that provide insights into the events of that time.
At the base of the hill, you’ll find the Schmoe House, which is connected to Floyd Schmoe, an American who came to Hiroshima to support atomic bomb survivors. The tour continues with visits to other atomic bomb-related sites, including Miyuki Bridge and the former Army Clothing Depot, before heading to Ujina Park for more cherry blossom viewing.
