From Hiroshima IC, head to Miyoshi City via the expressway. From Hiroshima City, the scenery gradually becomes greener and greener. You can enjoy it from a hired car. 10:00 ~ 11:00 | “Umpekikyo” tour and tea ceremony experience | Umpekikyo, designated as a prefectural historic site, was built approximately 200 years ago in the late Edo period and was used as the official residence of Miyoshi Town Magistrate “Rai Kyohei”. You will tour a traditional house that has been preserved by local people, and you will also experience a tea ceremony while looking out at the garden. 11:10 ~ 12:00 | Ozekiyama Park and Hogenji | Ozekiyama Park was built on the site where Akurihime (Yosenin), the wife of Asano Naganori, the lord of the Harima Ako domain who committed seppuku during the Ako Incident, spent her childhood, and is a famous spot for cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. At Hougen-ji Temple, which is a few minutes walk from Ozekiyama Park, you can see the weeping cherry blossoms planted by Oishi Kuranosuke, famous for the raid of the Ako samurai. 12:15 ~ 13:30 | Hiroshima Miyoshi Winery | This winery was established about 30 years ago in Miyoshi City, a grape producing area, and is a popular tourist destination with a yakiniku garden and plenty of souvenirs. 1. About application
This tour can be applied for from 1 person. The event will be canceled if the minimum number of participants (5 people) is not reached.
A Hiroshima prefecture regional interpreter guide will accompany you on the tour.
2. About travel fees
Travel fees are the fees listed under Travel Fees in this catalog.
The travel fee includes “transportation costs during the tour, entrance fees for each facility, experience fees, guide fees, lunch fees (excluding some products), and taxes.”
3. Regarding meals
Additional charges will apply for orders other than meals provided on the tour. If you wish to change the menu due to religious reasons, allergies, etc., please let us know at the time of tour reservation. Depending on the content, we may not be able to respond or may incur additional charges.
4. Regarding rainy weather:
In case of light rain, the tour will be held, so please bring rain gear. In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled the day before.
5. Children are welcome to participate
Children are welcome to participate, but please be careful not to disturb other guests in the facility. Regarding meals, we will also provide the same content to children.
6. Smoking
Smoking is prohibited inside each facility and vehicle.
